Accessibility

Vasatokka currently offers some accessible services. We are continuously working to develop and increase the accessibility of our services.

Kettulampi Lean-to Shelters

Located 500 metres from Vasatokka, by a small pond, there are two lean-to shelters accessible via a wooden ramp. During the snow-free season, the beginning of the ramp can be reached by car. There is also an accessible outdoor toilet at the site.

Accessible Pier

There is an accessible pier in the grounds of Vasatokka, suitable for fishing, enjoying the scenery, or simply spending time and relaxing by the lake.

Hearing Accessibility

Induction loops have been installed at the reception, in the Lapintupa meeting room and in our dining hall. An induction loop amplifies sound and helps people using hearing aids hear more clearly.

The induction loop is also useful in hybrid meetings, where some participants are on-site, and others join remotely. It helps make the voices of participants on site clearer to those attending remotely.

The induction loops were installed by Qlu Oy.

Accommodation

Our larger holiday cottages have a ramp to make the entrance easier to access. The bathrooms are equipped with an accessible toilet, and a shower chair is available. The same facilities are also available in one of our shared accommodation apartments.

Reception, Dining Hall and Meeting Room

Our reception and dining hall are accessible with assistance. They can be accessed by wheelchair users or people using walking aids with the help of an assistant. There is also an accessible toilet at the reception. The main entrance door has a push-button automatic door opener.

Lakeside Sauna

Our lakeside sauna has a ramp to make the entrance easier to access, as well as an accessible toilet.

Sports Hall

The sports hall is accessible, and there is an accessible toilet in the facilities.
