Booking and payment
Booker must be of legal age. The reservation is confirmed when the Center confirms the booking in writing (usually by email) or orally. We have an electric billing system, and customers can receive the invoice via email or an electronic billing system. Also, a credit card is valid upon arrival or at the latest when checking out.
The customer can cancel the reservation – unless otherwise agreed – under the following conditions:
• Cancellation must always be made in writing by e-mail.
• The whole group can be canceled free of charge no later than 60 days before the start date of the reservation.
• 60-45 days before the start date of the reservation, 20% of the originally booked seats can be canceled free of charge.
If the entire booking is canceled, we will charge 10% of the price of the booked services.
• If canceled up to 45-30 days before the date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
• If the cancellation is made 30-14 days before the start of the booking, we will charge 50% of the price of the booked services
• If the cancellation occurs 14-0 days before the start date of the booking, we will charge 100% of the price of the booked services
For travelers and individuals
Booking and payment
Bookers must be of legal age. The reservation is confirmed when the Center confirms the booking in writing (usually by email) or orally. Payment must be made upon arrival, by check-out in cash, or by credit card at the latest. If desired, the customer can receive the invoice via email or an electronic billing system.
Cancellation
Cancellation must be made in writing or orally no later than 4 pm on the day prior to arrival. The cancellation shall be deemed to have taken place at the time the information is received by Vasatokka.
If the cancellation is due to a sudden illness, accident, or death of the customer or a relative, the reservation can be canceled free of charge on the day of arrival and a medical certificate must be submitted to Nuoriso- ja luontomatkailukeskus Inari Oy. Cancellation must be made before the start of the booking period. If the customer changes the time of the booking, it will be considered as a cancellation of the previous order and a new booking, unless otherwise agreed.
The right of the Inari Oy Youth and Nature Center to cancel the reservation
In case of force majeure, Inari Oy can cancel the reservation and try to offer the client similar accommodation. In such a case, Vasatokan shall immediately notify the customer of the cancellation. Any costs incurred by the Customer due to Force majeure will not be refunded.
Stay at the resort
The quests property is available from 14.00 onwards until 12.00 on the day of departure.
Compensation for damage
Except for minor damage and wear and tear associated with normal housing, the customer is responsible for any damage they cause to the property, apart from minor injuries caused by normal living
Pets
Some of Vasatokka’s accommodation units allow pets. Permitted pets include dogs and smaller animals kept in their own cages. We do not allow cats in our accommodation. The pet fee is €15 per animal per stay.
Number of occupants
The number of people using the accommodation must not exceed the number of beds available. The use of tents or caravans on the property grounds without Vasatokkat’s permission is prohibited. Bringing pets to the accommodation must be arranged at the time of booking. An additional fee of €15 per stay applies to pets.
Complaints
Any issues regarding the accommodation’s amenities or condition must be reported to Vasatokka’s staff IMMEDIATELY during the stay. If the matter is not rectified, a written complaint must be submitted to Nuoriso- ja luontomatkailukeskus Inari Oy within 7 days of the end of the reservation. If the customer and Nuoriso- ja luontomatkailukeskus Inari Oy fail to reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board. Nuoriso- ja luontomatkailukeskus Inari Oy is not liable for changes occurring after the date of publication that are beyond our control.
We reserve the right to change prices for new reservations. Value-added tax (VAT) is determined in accordance with applicable legislation. These terms and conditions are intended to ensure smooth cooperation.
Booking and cancellation terms for activities
Bookings and confirmations must be made in writing; the booking remains valid unless cancelled in accordance with the terms below. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer may cancel the booking subject to the following terms:
• Cancellations must always be made in writing.
• The entire booking may be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before the scheduled start date.
• Between 7 and 1 day before the scheduled start date, 50% of the originally booked spots may be cancelled free of charge. If the entire booking is cancelled, a fee of 10% of the price of the booked services will be charged.
• If cancellation occurs 0–1 day before the scheduled start date, a fee of 100% of the price of the booked services will be charged.
