Feeling of beauty
Strategic partnership projects are for developing, transferring, and implementing innovative practices at organizational, local, regional, national, or European levels.
Vasatokka is involved as a partner in a strategic partnership project which is targeted at families with disabled children or adults. The project is Erasmus + funded strategic partnership project among three countries, coordinated by the “RA i DO” Foundation from Poland. Project partners are Associacia Cultural Tabala from Spain and Youth Center Vasatokka from Finland. In this project, we develop the FEELING OF BEAUTY® photographing method, which aims is to influence positively the self-esteem and sense of the beauty of the person photographed. The development method is a survey of participants and a peer group, as well as photography during the project.
The project will be implemented during local international training cycles in each project country; in summer -21 in Poland, in autumn -21 in Spain, and in January -22 in Inari. Each training cycle includes workshops, photography, and local photo exhibitions. In addition, a wall calendar and album of photos taken in the project will be made, and an international evaluation meeting and photo exhibition will be held in Warsaw, Poland in spring 2022. Project participants are parents of disabled children/adults, adults with disabilities, and employees of partner organizations.
